Plant Variety Rights Technical Training - Plant Variety Protection Awareness raising seminar

The objective of the Administrative Agreement, signed by the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO), the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China, is to reach a similar scope of protection of plant variety rights in the European Union and in China. This will not only benefit breeders, but also farmers, producers and, ultimately, the public and consumers.

The EU-China Comparative Approach to Judiciary Procedures Forum

On 23 and 24 September, IP Key China in partnership with the Supreme People’s Court of China (SPC) organised a forum on the ‘Comparative Approach to Judiciary Procedures’ with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to China and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO)

IP Key China supports EU-China Intellectual Property Working Group

The 24th meeting of the EU-China IP Working Group was held during the week of 31 May 2021 in Beijing and online. Established in 2005 at the EU-China Summit, the group was set up to support the EU-China IP Dialogue. This year’s session was co-chaired by DG Trade (European Commission) and MOFCOM, and supported by IP Key China. Industry participants and representatives of the European Union’s small and medium-sized enterprises had a chance to raise awareness about the issues they face.
