Training in Europe of Chinese Customs Officers

In the context of the EU-China Action Plan (2014-2017) on IPR Customs Enforcement of IPR, IP Key is going to co-organise a training in Europe for 10 customs officers from different ports and airports in China from November 16 to 26, 2015. After the three working group meetings respectively held in Ningbo, China (May 6 to 9, 2014), in Rome, Italy (November 25 to 27, 2014) and in Brussels, Belgium (June 7 to 11, 2015), this visit aims at contributing to the Key Action 5 (KA5) – Exchange of knowledge and experience of each other’s IPR enforcement policies and practices – as set out by the aforementioned Action Plan. 

Following the study visit of two EU customs officers to China taken place from May 25 to 29 this year,  this visit will allow Chinese customs officers to explore risk analysis systems, inspection procedures and “on-the-job” experience and practices in the EU. The training will include meetings with local customs officers in the EU and field visits to seaports and airports.
