Celebrating Women’s Achievements in IP : IP Key China Delivers Opening Speech

The IP Key China project took centre stage at the sixth conference on women’s achievements in intellectual property held on 12 March 2024 delivering an opening speech.

The conference, organised by the China Anti-Infringement and Anti-Counterfeiting Alliance (CAASA), served as an important platform for recognising and celebrating women’s accomplishments in the field of IP.

The project leader, Gyta Berasnevičiūtė-Singh, emphasised the pivotal role women play in shaping the intellectual property landscape.

Gyta underscored in her speech that the enduring impact of women in the EU and globally and their role in steering progress and transformation. Promoting women’s participation in the IP system and boosting women’s engagement in innovation and creativity will therefore continue to be a priority in the years to come. As we reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and look towards the future, the commitment to supporting women’s accomplishments in IP will remain unwavering.
