The ‘2024 High-level Forum on China Intellectual Property Protection’, jointly hosted by China Intellectual Property News and the World Intellectual Property Organisation China Office, concluded in Beijing on 23 April.

Hélène JURAMY, Trade Counsellor at the EU Delegation to China, delivered a keynote speech emphasising the importance of intellectual property protection and non-discriminative enforcement for European companies entering the Chinese market and the prospects of EU-China cooperation in the field of intellectual property. Gyta BERASNEVIČIŪTĖ-SINGH, the IP Key project leader, participated in the forum.

IP rights remain a priority trade topic between China and the EU, and a decisive element for the continued growth of EU-China trade and investment. Over the years, the EU and China have promoted communication and cooperation in this area through the EU-funded IP Key China project.
