IP Key SEA works with SEA officials in the trade mark examination guidelines

Throughout the year 2020, the IP Key SEA legal experts will collaborate with the trade mark officials of the three offices, namely the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of Indonesia (DGIP), the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), and the Department of Intellectual Property of Thailand (DIP) in drafting and reviewing examination guidelines at the national level.

The national trademark guidelines to be developed jointly by the IP Key SEA experts and the trademark officials from the three IP offices are expected to help trademark examiners assess the registrability of trademarks more efficiently.
