Trade Secrets in the EU and South-East Asia

On 17  April 2024, IP Key SEA organised a webinar on trade secrets in the EU and South-East Asia (SEA), bringing together three experts from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the SEA IP SME Helpdesk.

Trade secrets, a lesser-known type of IP right, are becoming increasingly important in the fast-changing business environment and can complement other forms of protection. The webinar presented the importance of trade secrets, especially to SMEs, as well as best practices regarding their protection and case studies in the EU and Southeast Asian countries.
