IP Key China study: Lessons from the EU experience with memoranda of understanding in tackling the online sale of counterfeit goods

Earlier this year, the IP Key China team commissioned a study to look at how applicable the memorandum of understanding approach might be to the online anti-counterfeiting drive in China. The resulting study, which was unveiled on 21 November 2019 in Haikou, draws on over 30 surveys and in-depth interviews conducted with businesses and authorities in the EU and China as well as legal cases where the China e-Commerce law has been applied.
