Exchange of good practices to limit advertising on IP-infringing websites and mobile applications

Online IPR infringements continue to be a major concern in the SEA countries. Therefore, there is a need for multiplying efforts and promoting proactive collaboration among private stakeholders. Following up on the work done under IP Key SEA I which led to the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between IP Right Holders and Intermediaries Service Providers in Thailand, DIP Thailand is working on a new MoU to fight against IP online infringements  following the example of the Memorandum of understanding facilitated by the European Commission on online advertising and intellectual property rights (IPR). The workshop will be an opportunity to  share best practices from the EU and invite IP Right holders and online advertising agencies that are signatories to the EU MoU.
