Workshop on the Enhanced Detection and Identification of Counterfeit Goods

The workshop organised by IP Key SEA in collaboration with the International Trademark Association (INTA) provided a platform for closer cooperation between IPR owners and enforcement authorities. Adopting an interactive format allowing for direct exchanges, it offered information on how authorities in South-East Asia can identify counterfeit goods from genuine products.

Virtual Conference on Enforcement Against IP Crimes - 4 October 2023

The Virtual Conference on Enforcement Against IP Crimes will gather IP and law enforcement authorities from the South-East Asia countries in order to tackle the latest developments and issues involving IP crimes in both the online and offline environment.

Following the launch of the European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats (EMPACT) priority actions against intellectual property crimes and its link to organized crime, the conference will discuss the current global state and scope of IP crimes and emphasize the importance of cross-border cooperation between and among IP enforcement authorities in the EU and SEA. The latest online tools developed by the EUIPO Observatory, such as the IP Enforcement Portal, will also be presented.
