2022 IP Key China Closing Event

IP Key China held its closing event on 7 July 2022. It attracted the interested stakeholders from government agencies, international organisations, businesses and IP service providers of EU and China. In line with the work plan, this current phase of IP Key China will conclude on 31 August 2022.

The event highlighted the substantial support provided by the project to IP cooperation and dialogue between the EU and China from 2017 to 2022. Afterwards, five experts shared their views on the Future Priorities for IP cooperation between the EU and China: Enforcement in a panel moderated by Mr Benoit Misonne, the IP Attaché to the EU Delegation to China. The Trade Officer at the EU Delegation to China, Ms Helene Juramy, closed the event with remarks on challenges encountered and the outlook for the future.

IP Key China is a technical IP cooperation project directed by the European Commission and implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Part of the continuous efforts to strengthen IP cooperation between the EU and China since 1999, the project complements the IP Political Dialogue Mechanism and Working Group.
