IP Key China facilitated SPP prosecutor participation at the EIPPN meeting

A Chinese delegation of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of the People’s Republic of China (SPP) participated in a two-day EIPPN meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, on 12 and 13 September 2024, with support from the IP Key China, EU-funded project implemented by EUIPO.

Co-chaired by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (EUROJUST), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), this annual International Workshop on IP Crime Prosecution brought together prosecutors from EU Member States and prosecutor representatives from non-EU countries. They shared cases and joined discussions on the importance of international cooperation on IP prosecution. The delegation of Chinese prosecutors was invited to participate in and deliver a presentation at the meeting.

Through this activity, EUIPO, in the context of the EU-funded IP Key China project, further facilitated the networks among EU and Chinese prosecutors, strengthening the interactive discussions between prosecutors from both regions on case sharing and judicial cooperation.
