Roundtable discussion regarding IP enforcement mechanisms in court procedures, arbitration, and mediation in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone

IP Key and Tongji University will be holding a series of best-practice sharing roundtables at Tongji University in Shanghai on April 23-24, 2015. The roundtables are intended to bring judges, arbitrators and mediators from Europe and China together to analyse the workings of IP enforcement mechanisms in courts, and arbitration and mediation entities. The experience-sharing will provide ideas to the Chinese authorities that can be incorporated into IP enforcement mechanisms within Shanghai’s Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ). Engagement in the Shanghai PFTZ is particularly important because the zone serves as a lab in China for experimenting with new methods of attracting and facilitating businesses, and thus it provides new opportunities for future reforms in even other parts of China as well. 

Please note this activity is only open to invited judges, arbitrators and mediators.
