Jiangsu International Intellectual Property Forum
Dan Prud'homme of the IP Key Team delivered a keynote speech on "Improving Patent Quality and Innovation in China: Transforming Policy Analysis into Cooperative Action" at the 1st Three Rivers International IP Forum held in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, on November 29, 2013.
The theme of the forum, hosted by Jiangsu University and supported by the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province, was on "Intellectual Property and Innovation Development." The forum featured four scholars and three government officials, collectively representing EU, Chinese, US, and Korean institutions. The around 200 representatives present from academia, government, and industry also participated in the conference’s sub-forums on "Patents and Technology Transfer," "IP and Corporate Innovation," "IP and Industrial Development," and "Applications of Patent Information."
