Workshops and Study Visits for SPP Prosecutors and EIPPN Meeting in Europe

With the support and organisation by IP Key, a Chinese delegation of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of the PRC (SPP) and Local/Provincial prosecutors visited the EU in May for a ten day study visit in Sweden, the Netherlands and Spain respectively.

During this visit, the Chinese delegation participated in the EU-China Intellectual Property Prosecutors Best Practice Group meeting which took place on 24 May. This year, this meeting, organised and chaired by the EUIPO had speakers from the SPP, the EUIPO and experts from the EU Member States to present on the latest case studies and practices.

The SPP delegation also visited the EUIPO in Alicante, Spain and had a meeting with experts of the EUIPO and EU Observatory enforcement to discuss case work on IPR infringement, evidence gathering and international cooperation to support case handling.
