IP Key LA Summit 2025

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), a leading organization in the field of Intellectual Property (IP), presented the IP Key LA Summit 2025 on February 4 in Brazil.

The summit marked the final event of the IP Key LA project, capturing and reflecting on seven years of international cooperation between the European Union and Latin American countries.

The event, which took place in Rio de Janeiro, aimed to strengthen cooperation between both regions, recognising the collaboration of Latin American intellectual property offices and other relevant stakeholders involved in the project, including INTERPOL, the European Commission, Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE), Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), and Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI).

The Summit also featured two parallel events aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (Promotion of the IP System for SMEs) and women and young people (Inclusivity in IP with Designers, Young Innovators, and Women). These events were held in INPI and in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro premises, in collaboration with them and in partnership with SEBRAE and Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI).
