IP Key LA will attend the Sub-Regional Meeting of Experts on Patents of Central American Countries and the Dominican Republic, organized by WIPO

The Regional Seminar on the Patent Cooperation Treaty and the Sub-Regional Meeting of Experts on Patents of Central American Countries and the Dominican Republic for the update of the Processing Manual of Patent Applications and the strengthening of collaboration mechanism, will take place in Costa Rica and will gather IP Offices of Latin America (including Dominican Republic and Cuba).

Chile joins DesignView

As of 22 July 2019, the National Institute of Industrial Property Office of Chile (INAPI) has made its design data available to the DesignView search tool.

With INAPI on board, DesignView now contains data from 69 participating offices.

With the addition of more than 4,500 industrial designs from INAPI, DesignView provides information and access to more than 14.7 million designs in total.

IP Key LA introduces the Second IP Enforcement and Governance Week, in Argentina

18 months after starting work on the construction and consolidation of an intellectual property network in the region, IP Key LA announces the second week dedicated to the Observance and Governance of Intellectual Property. On this occasion, the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, will host authorities related to the administration of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and representatives of companies from Latin America and the European Union, who will attend activities dedicated to the promotion of the enforcement and governance of IPRs.

Seminars for Judges on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights and Online Markets

IP Key LA convened judges with IP jurisdiction from courts in Brazil, other Mercosur countries and Chile to participate in the seminars "Infringements of copyright in the digital environment" -organized in collaboration with IFPI- and "The observance of trade mark and design rights and online markets” -with the support of INTA and BASCAP-.
