Building on previous cooperation, a delegation of judges from the Supreme People’s Court of China (SPC) visited the Unified Patent Court (UPC) Local Division of the Hague, the District Court of the Hague, the Netherlands, the UPC Court of Appeal in Luxembourg, and the École Nationale de la Magistrature in Paris, France, during the week of 9 June 2025.

The visit aimed to facilitate peer-to-peer exchanges between the SPC and European courts on the practical challenges and judicial experience in patent trials.

Building on previous cooperation, a delegation of China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) experts in trade marks and patents will travel to Brussels, Belgium, on 2 to 4 June 2025 for study visits and seminars aimed at both policymakers and industry stakeholders.
