Protection of Well-known Trade Marks:  finding a common rationale between the EU and China

IP Key’s fifth IP Café was held in partnership with Peking University Law School and Peking University Science and Technology Law Research Centre and focused on the ‘Protection of Well-known Trade Marks: finding a common rationale between the EU and China’. The discussions engaged Chinese and EU speakers on the policy reasons that led to the development of special legal frameworks for the protection of trade marks with reputation, and explored how the two legal systems address their legal and operational aspects in the practice.
