IP Key LA and EPO join efforts in giving a patent training session for CII
A CII is a computer-implemented invention based on the use of a computer, computer network or other programmable apparatus with features realised wholly or partly by means of a computer program.
In order to provide training for the officials of local IP Offices in charge of the examination of CII patents, the European Patent Office and IP Key LA have designed a virtual workshop set to be held over two half-day sessions in March 2021.
The topics of the workshop will be covered by experts from the EPO and experts from select IP Offices from the surrounding region. The experts chosen from the EPO are senior examiners with extensive experience in training colleagues. For their part, the experts from selected IPOs will be appointed by their respective offices.
