IP Key LA brings successful IP Roving Seminar to the Andean Community

IP Key LA is organizing a new edition of its Roving Seminar for SMEs, this time aimed to Andean countries. The activities will take place in May 2019 in Lima, Quito and Bogota.

The events are aimed at European and local SMEs and seek to disseminate best practices in the use of IP assets for the development of their businesses, as well as publicizing the mechanisms of use and protection of IPR available to them.

IP Key LA carries on this event in coordination with the local IP Offices: Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual (INDECOPI), Servicio Nacional de Derechos Intelectuales (SENADI), and Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC). EUIPO, the Latin America IPR SME Helpdesk and the local EUDs actively support this activity, as well as the Oficina Española de Patentes y Marcas and INPI France.

The presentations and panels will be delivered by representatives of the EU, local stakeholders as well as regional and international experts.

Two of these experts will also participate in a webinar that will cover the basics of IP for SMEs. The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday May 14th and targets European and Latin American businesses interested in getting a first approach of how IP can help them expand their business to other regions. More details and registration will be available in the next days.
