Andean Community (CAN) visits EUIPO

Former Ambassador of Peru, Jose Antonio Arróspide, and currently Director-General of the Andean Community (CAN), is visiting EUIPO on Tuesday 10 April 2018. This visit has been organised by IP Key Latin America, one of the EU-funded projects under ICLAD’s responsibility.

The aim of this visit is to strengthen the cooperation between the Andean Community and IP Key LA considering that the European Union is one of the principal investors for the Andean countries (Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Peru).

Ambassador Arróspide will meet with EUIPO Executive Director António Campinos as the Secretary General of the CAN is providing office space to the long term expert contracted by the IP Key LA project in Lima. In addition, there will be an informal discussion of the future activities planned under the scope of the IP Key Latin America project in the Andean Region.
