IP Key LA participates in conferences in Guadalajara, Mexico

The IP Key, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, O.A. (OEPM), joined forces to organize a series of workshops related to the protection of brands and designs.

Ricardo Ferreira, deputy project leader, participated in the activities "How to protect aesthetic creations: Industrial Design" and "The importance of the brand in the internationalization of companies". He focused his presentations on the protection of design and trademarks in the European Union.

In addition, the intellectual property expert Ernesto Rubio, invited by the project, presented an overview of international brand protection and moderated a colloquium focused on the main theme.

The event, held at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Campus Guadalajara, was attended by representatives of intellectual property offices from 19 Latin American countries and speakers from each of the institutions involved in the organization of the event.
