IP Key Latin America gives a presentation to master’s degree students of intellectual property and innovation in Argentina

On 3 June, the European project presented details of its structure and activities in Latin America to students of the University of San Andrés’ Master’s Degree in IP and Innovation in Argentina through a virtual platform.

Pedro Duarte, the project leader, gave the presentation highlighting the IP Key Latin America project’s actions in the different subregions of the continent, oriented to the different IP rights. He explained that the project aims to stimulate debate about best practices in IP between the experts in different industries, as well as to generate awareness about the added value of IP.

Duarte also addressed the basic notions of the EU trade mark and the registered Community design.
