Seminar on the Latest Developments in the field of Trade Marks

IP Key China, in partnership with the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), supported by the Delegation of the European Union to China and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), organised the Seminar on the Latest Developments in the Field of Trade Marks on 16 March 2022.

The Seminar focused on the legislation and practice of bad faith trade marks as well as on the protection and assessment of well-known and reputed ones. The experts from the EUIPO shared the latest practice, whilst the Chinese IP experts from CNIPA illustrated the changes in the provisions introduced by the 4th Amendment of Chinese Trade Mark Law.

The EUIPO and the CNIPA have maintained effective communication and collaboration thanks to the continuous commitment of IP Key China, an EU-funded programme aiming to promote EU‑China cooperation in the field of intellectual property.
