The EUIPO participates at the 2024 Global Geographical Indications Products Expo (GIPE)

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) attended the GI Law and Intellectual Property Forum as part of the EU-funded IP Key China project delivering a presentation on geographical indications for craft and industrial products in the European Union. The Forum was organised under the Global 2024 Geographical Indications Products Expo (GIPE), which took place from 20-22 September in Luzhou, Sichuan province, China.

The EU and China exchanged new developments and challenges in strengthened IP protection system at CIPAC

On 13 September 2024, the Seminar on New Developments and Challenges in Strengthened IP Protection System in the EU and China took place in Beijing, China, under the China Intellectual Property Annual Conference (CIPAC). The event, organised by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in the context of the EU-funded project IP Key China, and the Intellectual Property Publishing House (IPPH) under the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), was held at the Zhongguancun Innovation Center.
