The 8th EU-China Conference on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Protection Online and Innovation was held on 28 May 2025, in Beijing.
Building on previous cooperation, a delegation of judges from the Supreme People’s Court of China (SPC) visited the Unified Patent Court (UPC) Local Division of the Hague, the District Court of the Hague, the Netherlands, the UPC Court of Appeal in Luxembourg, and the École Nationale de la Magistrature in Paris, France, during the week of 9 June 2025.
The visit aimed to facilitate peer-to-peer exchanges between the SPC and European courts on the practical challenges and judicial experience in patent trials.
