IP Key LA addresses copyright in cultural sectors and the impact of its infringement in the digital environment

To raise awareness and knowledge on copyrights, IP Key LA has organized two events in Lima, Perú. These will provide a positive view of IPRs that highlights its potential to boost company revenues based on innovation and the construction of adequate and proper IP business strategies.

The seminar, which will take place Monday Nov. 11th, is open to the public and will focus on the benefits copyright can bring to different cultural sectors. On the following day, public officials of the Andean countries will attend a workshop that will address the pressing challenges related to the enforcement of laws in the digital environment -specifically infringement involving digital marketplaces- with strong focus on specific practices in the participant countries.

This activity is organized in cooperation with the EUIPO’s Observatory for Infringement of IP rights, the General Secretariat of the Andean Community and the Peruvian IP Office, INDECOPI.
